What's up everyone?!

I have put together a little history about my background for potential customers to review. It's not an in-depth biography, but I hope it will show you where my enthusiasm lies! Originally, I was in the construction field. After 8 years of hard labor however, my shoulders gave out and those events redirected my visions of architectural greatness to a higher standard: tattooing. Much less room for physical damage and far more space for personal creativity!
I hold a Graphic Arts degree, which has given me a tremendous edge when it comes to visual concept. If you can explain it, I can draw it. A high-end Macintosh computer sits upon my drawing desk at the shop and it is quite exciting to view your tattoo coming to life right in front of your eyes as we work on your ideas and mine, together. I draw on a daily basis to stay sharp and I am always exploring new art concepts to keep my skills current. I cruise web sites often to make sure I am keeping my artistic vision from getting stale and to keep myself in touch with new art.
I love drawing. In addition to skin art, I also recently entered 3 pieces of art work in the Italian-American art show in Rochester, N.Y. All 3 pieces were accepted, which I was told by the director was quite rare! I also donated a public service announcement to the National Anti-Vivisection Society in London (anti-animal testing advocates) which was comprised of striking images of mistreated and abused animals. The donated works are shown at seminars in England to help raise people's awareness of the plights of abused animals from the university laboratory level to the corporate offenders such as health care facilities. This kind of acceptance is the ultimate reward to me. Knowing that others would feel moved enough by my work to give it special notice or let it represent them in their daily lives.
I have been tattooing for four years now and have had two other tattoo shops in Rochester. Although in my past locations I have employed various artist's and piercer's, at my current location I am working solo and focusing on expanding my own personal art skills. I feel really good about going out on my own this time as I can immerse myself in the creativity I love without distractions! Every new tattoo that leaves my shop is an expression of something deeply important to me - my art - and that's just the way I want it!
Thanks for taking a minute to investigate this little part of my life line! Please take a moment to browse the site and see my portfolio of past works, my album of available art and feel free to read the FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions) page to learn more about what I do. If you have questions (or for any reason!), you can contact me via telephone or email whenever!
